Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | September 2026
Bajaj Power Projects Pvt Ltd has announced the commencement of its ambitious HALION Experience Centre initiative, marking the beginning of a phased nationwide programme aimed at developing up to 2,000 integrated renewable-energy experience locations across India.
The HALION Experience Centre concept has been under strategic planning, concept development and location assessment over the past several months, and the Company is now commencing its location identification, evaluation and phased development programme.
HALION has been envisioned not merely as an EV charging location or conventional solar showroom, but as an integrated Solar, Renewable Energy, Technology Experience and Clean Mobility ecosystem where consumers, businesses and institutions can see, understand and experience emerging clean-energy technologies.
At full-scale rollout, based on an indicative average development value of approximately ₹35 lakh per location, the proposed network could represent approximately ₹700 crore in projected ecosystem development potential.
Actual development value and infrastructure will vary between individual locations depending upon site configuration, technology requirements, electrical infrastructure, customer facilities and commercial feasibility.
HALION – Building a Renewable Energy Experience Ecosystem
The central objective of the HALION Experience Centre is to create a physical interface between customers and the rapidly evolving renewable-energy ecosystem.
The proposed centres will provide opportunities for customers to experience and understand technologies including N-Type TOPCon Solar PV Modules, Solar Inverters, Hybrid Inverters, Energy Storage & Battery Solutions, Residential Solar Systems, Commercial & Industrial Solar Solutions, EV Charging Solutions and other emerging clean-energy technologies.
Rather than simply displaying products, the concept aims to help customers understand how renewable-energy technologies can be practically deployed in homes, businesses, commercial establishments and industrial facilities.
Solar Product Display & Live Customer Experience
Selected HALION Experience Centres are proposed to feature dedicated renewable-energy product display and demonstration areas.
Depending upon the configuration of individual locations, these may include solar modules, inverters, hybrid energy solutions, battery and energy-storage systems, EV charging equipment and other clean-energy products.
Physical product displays may be supported by digital screens, interactive information displays, product videos, demonstrations and technology-based customer education.
The objective is to make renewable energy more accessible and understandable to the end consumer.
Residential, Commercial & Industrial Solar Awareness
Solar awareness and customer consultation will form an important part of the HALION ecosystem.
The centres are proposed to function as local Solar Awareness, Consultation and Lead Generation Hubs, enabling customers to explore solutions for:
- Residential Rooftop Solar
- Commercial Rooftop Solar
- Industrial Solar Projects
- Solar PV Modules
- On-Grid & Hybrid Inverters
- Energy Storage & Battery Solutions
- Energy-Efficiency Solutions
- Emerging Renewable-Energy Technologies
The centres may facilitate customer enquiries, project consultations, preliminary solution discussions, product demonstrations, lead generation, meetings, booking and sales facilitation.
This is intended to create a stronger physical connection between renewable-energy technology and potential customers.
Digital Advertisement & Display Boards
Another proposed feature of the HALION Experience Centre ecosystem is digital and physical advertising/display infrastructure.
Depending upon the location and applicable permissions, selected centres may incorporate large-format advertisement boards, digital LED screens, product displays, renewable-energy awareness campaigns, promotional panels, directional signage and interactive digital content.
The display infrastructure can be used to communicate information relating to solar energy, renewable-energy products, clean mobility, technology and other permitted promotional content.
This will enable HALION locations to function as both customer-awareness centres and modern digital engagement platforms.
Virtual Reality & Interactive Technology Experience
Selected HALION Experience Centres may also incorporate Virtual Reality (VR) and interactive technology experience zones.
The concept envisages technology-enabled educational and recreational activities for children, families and other visitors, helping create additional engagement and footfall around the Experience Centre.
Depending upon individual locations, facilities may also include customer seating, waiting areas, information counters, Wi-Fi and other customer amenities.
EV Charging – An Important Complementary Component
EV charging infrastructure is proposed as an important complementary component of the broader HALION renewable-energy ecosystem.
At technically and commercially suitable locations, the Experience Centre may incorporate EV charging stations, charging bays and associated electrical and power infrastructure.
The concept therefore enables selected locations to integrate:
Solar Energy | Renewable Energy Products | Energy Storage | Solar Awareness | Digital Advertising | Interactive Technology | VR Experience | EV Charging | Clean Mobility
within a common customer-facing environment.
The configuration of EV charging and other infrastructure may differ from one HALION location to another depending upon local demand, technical feasibility and site characteristics.
Nationwide Rollout Programme Begins
Bajaj Power Projects is now commencing the location identification, evaluation and development phase for the proposed HALION Experience Centre network.
The initiative is intended to progressively cover major metropolitan markets, Tier-I and Tier-II cities, emerging urban centres and strategically important highway corridors.
Initial markets proposed for evaluation include Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Raipur, Patna, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi, followed by additional commercially viable markets across India.
Each location will be evaluated on parameters such as customer footfall, accessibility, available area, local solar and EV potential, power infrastructure, technical feasibility and commercial viability.
Strategic Location Development Across Multiple Property Categories
To develop a scalable nationwide network, Bajaj Power Projects intends to explore suitable location arrangements and strategic collaborations across a wide range of property categories.
Potential locations may include Municipal Corporations, Nagar Palikas and other Urban Local Bodies, fuel stations, highway restaurants and wayside facilities, hotels and resorts, hospitals and healthcare facilities, shopping malls and commercial complexes, marriage lawns and banquet facilities, residential societies and townships, institutional campuses and other strategically located high-footfall properties.
The Company may also explore portfolio-level location arrangements with organisations and property networks having multiple suitable locations, allowing a larger number of sites to be evaluated under a structured expansion programme.
Location development will remain subject to mutually acceptable commercial arrangements, site feasibility and applicable statutory requirements.
Target: Up to 2,000 HALION Experience Centres
Bajaj Power Projects has established a long-term development objective of creating a network of up to 2,000 HALION Experience Centres across India.
Based on the current conceptual planning assumptions:
Target Network: Up to 2,000 Locations
Projected Ecosystem Development Potential at Full Scale: Approximately ₹700 Crore
At full-scale rollout, the proposed network of up to 2,000 HALION Experience Centres is expected to represent an overall ecosystem development potential of approximately ₹700 crore, based on the currently envisaged infrastructure and development model.
The proposed network will be developed progressively, subject to successful location onboarding, feasibility, commercial arrangements, infrastructure requirements and applicable approvals.
Creating a New Interface Between Consumers and Renewable Energy
The HALION Experience Centre initiative is intended to take renewable-energy awareness beyond traditional dealerships, websites and conventional product showrooms.
The broader vision is to create accessible physical locations where consumers can see renewable-energy products, understand solar technologies, discuss their requirements, interact with emerging technologies and experience clean-mobility infrastructure.
“HALION Experience Centre is envisioned as an integrated renewable-energy experience ecosystem rather than a conventional retail outlet or standalone EV charging location. Our objective is to create a physical platform where consumers can experience solar and clean-energy technologies, understand their applications and interact with emerging technologies. We are now beginning the phased development of this concept across India.”
